  1. Your blog is great. I just had surgery 8 days ago to remove a GH secreting 2cm macroadenoma. My question to you is how quickly did you start to notice physical changes in your appearance, feet, hands, lips, tongue, etc. after your surgery? I've read this can take some time as we all recover differently, but I'd like to know what you experienced. thank you, I look forward to your reply.

  2. Hey Josh,
Congrats on a safe and successful surgery!
    In terms of timeframe...

I noticed my forehead immediately. It felt paper thin to me upon waking up in the recovery room. It was a strange experience.
Also, the sweating stopped immediately. I used to break a sweat very easily, and I noticed the first day that it had stopped.

After the immediate changes the subtle changes continued on for about a month or so. By the two month mark everything was as good as it got. It was also a bit hard to tell what were changes from the surgery and what were just my general feelings upon recovering from surgery.

Also, I had that little problem with not being able to hang onto my fluid levels so that may have made me feel different.

Physical differences though were complete in two months.
